In 2024, we used the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Simplified Greenhouse Gas Emissions Calculator released in June 2024—and designed to help small business and low emitter organizations estimate and inventory their annual greenhouse gas emissions—to estimate our firm’s operational carbon footprint for the reporting year 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024. This is the second annual period for which we carried out such an assessment and we look forward to repeating this analysis in 2025.

Fermat’s Scope 1 and 2 emissions for the reporting period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 were estimated as follows:

Scope 1 Emissions: 9 CO2-e (metric tons)

Scope 2 Emissions (Location-Based): 50 CO2-e (metric tons)

Scope 2 Emissions (Market-Based): 50 CO2-e (metric tons)

Total Scope 1 & Scope 2 Emissions: 59 CO2-e (metric tons)
